Induction motor is a kind of motor that uses electromagnetic induction between stator and rotor to induce current in rotor to realize electromechanical energy conversion. The stator of induction motor is composed of stator core, stator winding and base.

Explosion-proof motor is a king of induction motor, can be used in flammable and explosive places, and does not produce electric sparks during operation.

Flameproof motors use flameproof enclosures to separate the electrical parts that may produce sparks, arcs and dangerous temperatures from the surrounding explosive gas mixture. However, the enclosure is not sealed, and the explosive gas mixture around the enclosure can enter the motor through the gap between the joint surfaces of various parts of the enclosure. Explosion may occur when contacting with spark, arc, dangerous high temperature and other ignition sources in the enclosure. At this time, the flameproof enclosure of the motor will not be damaged or deformed, and the explosive flame or hot gas can not ignite the surrounding explosive gas mixture when it passes through the gap of the joint surface.

The differences between YBX3 flame proof motor and ordinary three phase AC induction motor

Flame proof motor is designed to withstand the pressure caused by an internal explosion without incurring any damage and are also able to prevent flame propagation outside.

2.The sealing of the junction box of YBX3 anti-explosion motor is better than that of ordinary AC induction motors.
